I seldom see the stars anymore. When I do, nothing makes me feel smaller. Not just in size, but how small our lives are in relation to the universe. It’s a scary thought, yet just by looking up, and not down at my feet, I’m forced to be curious and to feel hopeful. I travelled away from the city and its excess of artificial light to look for a clear night sky. A night sky where the only thing separating us from complete darkness is starlight travelling through the void.
